Generally I'm a person to solve your physical problems via construction, fabrication, repair, logistics, advice and facilitation.

I'm there for rapid prototyping, I digitally design and physically produce. I like things which don't have a precedent and might go wrong. I've specialised in mechanical and interactive exhibitions, prototyping and metal work. Integration of tech and electronics into exhibits, general carpentry, construction and on site exhibit installation. Projects include The New York Hall of Science, Cumberland Island National Park, Jones Beach Science and Education Center, Minnewaska State Park Preserve The Met, The Natural History Museum, Exploration Place (Kansas), Roseville Utility Education Center (California), Bell Labs, Nokia and TIAA among others.

Rapid prototyping and mechanical motions- gears, belt drives, cam wheels, rotational movements, magnetic stops, leavers, track systems, switch and sensor activation, motor control. Welding - TIG, MIG, stick. Aluminum, stainless and mild steel, some oxy acetylene torch skills. Brazing - oxy propane/MAP, brass, copper, silver, steel. Precious metal jewelry soldering. Metal finishing, fine finishing with a grinder, flap disk, scotch brite to polish finishes, powder coating prep. invisible seams. Free hand plasma cutting Forge and black smithing hot metal bending and shaping, basic lost wax foundry work, production of wax and investments. Low temp casting of lead and pewter. Experience with museum and archive materials. Fusion360 design, production documents, producing build plans, instruction and troubleshooting manuals. Turning designs to CNC production, Shopbot, Shapeoko, vector and organic forms. 3d printing, UV resin and filament, Laser cutter. Mold making and casting, silicon molds and hard molds. Casting in resins, wax, low temp metals and assorted materials. Ceramics, handbuilding and slip casting, kiln firing, Glass kiln work - fusing, slumping, free hand torch work. Jewelry, stone setting, glass enamel - on copper, brass and steel. Precious metal wax production. Electronics, integration of lighting, tech components, hard soldering and wiring
